The Workterra™ story began in 1987 as a creative and unique provider of many top-rated benefit programs, including FSA, COBRA Administration, Commuter Benefits, Invoice Reconciliation, and Voluntary Insurance. Serving a wide variety of businesses throughout the United States, from small organizations to large national corporations, allowed us to gain valuable knowledge and insight into the most important HR needs.
As a result, in 2004 we introduced our benefits administration and enrollment application, Workterra BenAdmin. From the start, its flexible approach provided automated integration to carriers and payroll systems, creating a single-key, paperless environment for our clients. The cloud-based solution has always allowed access to information anytime, anywhere from the web, and — more recently — via iOS and Android native applications.
In September 2016, Workterra™ was acquired by CareerBuilder for two strategic reasons: to significantly expand CareerBuilder’s product offering beyond recruitment into post-hire solutions, and to complete CareerBuilder’s evolution into a full-fledged human capital management company. As Workterra™, we’re even more powerful and better positioned today and especially for tomorrow, always remaining a unified platform that’s incredibly easy to use, rapidly implemented, and always evolving.
